9. Curtis Millender Vs. Max Griffin
The Fox Sports 1 portion of the preliminary card opens up with a battle of welterweights as Curtis Millender takes on Max Griffin. Both men enter the fight on the back of arguably the biggest wins of their respective careers, Millender knocking out former title challenger Thiago Alves in his UFC debut, and Griffin earning a unanimous decision over prospect Mike Perry.
Bellator veteran Millender is on a fantastic streak currently, having scored three consecutive KO's in his previous three fights. Griffin meanwhile is hoping to string consecutive UFC wins together for the first time in the organisation.
Neither of these two prefers to grapple so it is likely that this fight will be contested primarily in striking distance. Both men are capable of finishing this fight with strikes so it will come down to who can be more refined on their feet, which in this case is Millender.
