1. Adam Bogdan

Liverpool's Adam Bogdan dropped a corner on his first Premier League game for the Reds nearly two years ago (with a cruel Nathan Aké scoring the resulting shot) and he's played only one more since, a dead rubber on the season's final day.

Back-up goalkeepers don't necessarily need to be amazing though, to be fair - they just need to be willing to spend the bulk of their time warming the bench whilst a more talented shot-stopper mans the sticks.

And Bogdan, of course, had plenty of practice at that during his time Bolton, where he played second-fiddle in his final season as they narrowly escaped relegation from the Championship.

In his defence, it must be nigh-on impossible to improve when you only a play a handful of games each season.
