20 Best Goals of 2012

17. Mexes v Anderlecht

After Ibrahimovic's acrobatic wonderstrike against England, a few weeks later, club football was back underway in the form of the UEFA Champions League. Mexes, after watching Zlatan's goal, clearly wanted to go one better. He attempted a little one of those beauties of his own, but this time with a keeper on the line. Mexes' goal for AC Milan was definitely one to savour. http://youtu.be/ivXeX18TpHY

16. Jiránek v Kuban

When a player scores from distance, I'm always one of those cynics who thinks its more of a goalkeeping blunder as opposed to a well hit strike. But now and again, you see a strike which is unstoppable. Martin Jiránek's goal for FC Terek Grozny is just one of those goals. Not bad, considering he's a centre-back! http://youtu.be/2elrNU64V5g

15. Aguero v QPR

This is quickly becoming the most over played goal in the world. Do I care? Not at all! In fact, I love it, as it ultimately snatched the title away from Manchester United's grasp. It's not much of a strike in terms of ability, but it makes the list purely for what it resembles... a priceless reaction from Sir Alex Ferguson. Oh, and apparently this delivered Manchester City's first Premier League title or something. http://youtu.be/_qwoAIqynBc
