The Nigerian striker caused one of the most memorable Transfer Deadline Day moments ever, driving himself to London upon hearing that QPR wanted to sign him from West Brom. Unfortunately for Peter, the rumours were false, and he was left stranded in the car park. The rest of the season was unsurprisingly an uncomfortable one for Odemwingie, and he was transferred to Cardiff the following August.
