To date, Rangers have beaten Celtic on 159 occasions. Compare that to the reverse, 145 wins for Celtic, and it becomes clear that the Gers have one over on their rivals in this category. The stats don't lie, in 'Old Firm' matches, Rangers have been more dominant. 119 league wins have been secured by the Ibrox outfit over their great historic rivals, which is surely something which sticks in the throats of Celtic fans. It could be some time before Rangers have the opportunity to make that number 120, but it's still an impressive statistic, and something the 'Blue, blue, blue sea of Ibrox' can sing about.
