4 Reasons Why Bundesliga Is Better Than The Premier League

€˜The Best League in the World€™; a ludicrous statement to make, especially since their argument revolves around the belief that any team can beat any team on their day and that 20th can beat 1st. Wolves by the way - who finished in 20th €“ didn€™t defeat any of the top eight clubs last season and Manchester City didn€™t lose to any of the bottom seven teams. The Sun newspaper declared that the league was officially the best when 80 of the 368 players at Euro 2012 were shown to be playing their domestic football in England. By the time of the semi-finals - when the weaker teams had been eliminated - 27 players represented La Liga, 22 were from Serie A, 19 played in the Bundesliga and eight were from the Premier League, two less than the Primera League in Portugal. It seems that the Premier League is deemed the best because of two things: money and exposure. Increasingly Sky Sports coverage is becoming more dramatic (will they shake hands?) and it appears that most of the changes are aesthetic. Pundits are constantly claiming that the achievements of a new player or manager in a foreign league mean little if you haven€™t played over here. The Premier League is quick and physical but does that automatically make it better?
