5 MMA Fights For Stephan Bonnar To Take In Bellator

Looks like pro wrestling never panned out, as Stephan Bonnar is back - in Bellator!

The American Pyscho is out of retirement - and in Bellator MMA. That's right - the most outlandish MMA rumour of the month has panned out, as UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar has signed with Bellator MMA, according to a press release posted to their official website. As per the release, "I want everyone to know I'm coming out of retirement because it's time to free the MMA world of the virus that's known as Tito Ortiz,€ Bonnar said. €œWe've been suffering through his boring fights for too many years, and it's about time that someone beats it out of him once and for all." Wow. It appears the move has the blessing of Dana White, and was in the works since at least earlier this month, as the rumour slipped out about a week ago thanks to Twitter personality FrontRowBrian - a sometimes reliable source of news and rumours. In this case, the rumour was so out of left field that is was barely reported. Today, however, it was confirmed. €œStephan is a guy that has been a huge part of this sport and we are excited have him part of the roster,€ Bellator President Scott Coker said. €œHe was one half of probably the greatest and one of the most important fights in MMA history, and it happened on Spike." Well, that's right back where Bonnar is about to be. So with that in mind, lets take a look at five fights Stephan Bonnar could take in the light heavyweight division of Bellator MMA!
