5 Newcastle Players To Be Sent Out On Loan

Mike Williamson and Yoan Gouffran are set to leave the club.

Newcastle United are not yet finished in the transfer window with five players set to leave on loan, according to the Northern Echo.

Steve McClaren has five players currently on the loan list including, Mike Williamson, Yoan Gouffran, Gael Bigirimana, Rob Elliot and Curtis Good who could all leave for Championship clubs.

The Football League loan window is due to open on September 9th and will shut on November 25th. This gives team in the lower leagues a chance to strengthen their sides if they have injury problems.

Williamson was rumoured to be on his way out of Tyneside on transfer deadline day but despite interest from Brighton a deal did not materialise. It's likely that he will be offered to Chris Hughton's side again as part of a loan deal.

Yoan Gouffran is wanted by Hull City and McClaren will also look to offload Elliot, Bigirimana and Good who are all considered as reserve players.
