Disregarding the fact we don't have a bloody clue who is going to be in charge at Stamford Bridge come the return of the Premier League in August, Chelsea are anticipated to go on a summer spending spree following a disappointing 2017-18 season where many players underperformed.

Chelsea's fans and owner demand success, they've won the league twice in four seasons and captured the FA Cup this season, but also finished outside the top four when they failed to defend their title.

Whether it be Conte, Sarri or someone else entirely in the dugout for the Blues, they'll need to heavily invest in the squad and address a variety of issues throughout the team in order to spark a resurgence or risk losing other star names.

High-profile signings will be hard to come by due to the lack of Champions League football, nevertheless Abramovich's bottomless coffers make almost any big-money move feasible and these five players are the transfer dealings required in order to bring about a change in fortunes for The Pensioners...

With question marks surrounding the future of current number one Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea could do a lot worse than signing one of the best goalkeeping prospects in Europe.

The 19-year-old has been tipped for greatness, has experience far beyond his years and also looks likely to leave the San Siro this summer for the Premier League.

Having burst onto the scene in his homeland, he has rapidly become one of the most sought after talents in the world due to his commanding presence and the fact that he effectively solves your goalkeeping issue for the next decade.

Donnarumma is a stopper built for the Premier League stage and with Manchester United heavily linked to the wonderkid, AC Milan's sporting director even said:-

"If a good enough offer arrived, any of our players could be sold."

Granted he has been criticised in the past for mistakes for Milan, but he could really develop at a club like Chelsea and mature into a world class goalkeeper for the Blues.
