If a wrestling season were to exist, it wouldn’t affect any of the four major WWE PPVs.

Theoretically, much like the Super Bowl, the WWE season would culminate at WrestleMania in April. If you take the rest of April, May and June off, you can come back in July and build to SummerSlam in August.

In between SummerSlam and WrestleMania, you still have Survivor Series and Royal Rumble and the season practically sets itself up. This also leaves the opportunity to get rid of events that seem a bit insignificant, like Payback, Roadblock, and Fastlane, and re-schedule the smaller events that have a special feel and gimmick to it like Money in the Bank, Extreme Rules, and Elimination Chamber.

In fact, it could drive buys for SummerSlam on the very fact that it would be the first Pay-Per-View in months, and even if the card didn't excite you, it's the first show in literally months, and you'd inevitably be more likely to watch it.
