An £11.5m capture in the summer from French outfit Montpellier, 22-year-old Steve Mounié already looks like having the makings of a top Premier League striker.

Huddersfield manager David Wagner could well have pulled off one of the coups of the summer in signing Mounié if early impressions are to be considered. The Beninese forward bagged two goals with his first two chances in English football on the opening day against Crystal Palace, and his performances since have been excellent despite not finding the net again.

He is at the right age to learn and improve further, and under a manager like Wagner who has an enthusiasm and charisma which rubs off positively on many players, Mounié could find himself in the Premier League for the long haul.

At 6'3", Mounie is built to withstand the rigorous defensive tests of the Premier League and has already shown he has all the tools for the league's rough and tumble.
