8. Joe Kinnear's Incredibly Bizarre Spell At Newcastle United

Newcastle's appointment of the former Wimbledon manager in 2008 certainly raised a few eyebrows. He had been out of the game for a long time and the Magpies were in turmoil. However, it didn't take long for Kinnear to make his presence known in all the wrong ways. Unhappy with how the media had portrayed him since his appointment, he went on an abusive tirade in his first appearance for the Magpies in front of the media, calling out journalists and making his feelings well and truly known. Two who he was particularly unhappy with were Simon Bird - who he called a 'c*nt' - and Niall Hickman who was told quite bluntly to 'f**k off'.
