8 Soccer Teams You Didn't Know WWE Superstars Supported

Nobody wears a Man Utd shirt quite like Stacy Keibler.

Now here's a pairing you wouldn't normally link. WWE superstars and association football. One extreme and another. Sport and amateur dramatics. It is true that there is a lot more different about these two fanatical mezzanines of support than there is alike. For example, one is a heavily melodramatic affair of highly paid superstars with their bright attire and trademarked taunts, whom regularly hit the deck like a tonne of bricks when slightly chopped across the chest... and the other is World Wrestling Entertainment. However, despite their many differences there are a few striking similarities. Both feature a scattered cast of 'reality era' superstars, with cartoonish gimmicks. You have a vampire, divas, Italian stallions and Swiss supermen (perhaps Xherdan Shaqiri should jump on that before its patented) and an overall cast of the most ridiculous haircuts known to human kind. Would anyone care to tell me Enzo Amore wouldn't fit right in playing for AC Milan? Didn't think so. The latest grappler to show his allegiances is Triple H. The 13-time World Champion 'came out' as a West Ham United supporter while in London for NXT's TakeOver pay per view in the English capital, citing his own sporting values - not the free shirt he was given with his name on - as the reason for being an honorary Hammer. The Game told ITV News: €œWest Ham is probably the closest to what we do, with the passion of their fanbase and their loyalty, right? That€™s the closest to what we do.€ I suppose that's good enough... Here's eight more surprising soccer teams you didn't know WWE Superstars Supported.
