Roughly a year after defeating Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight Championship the Irishman went on to capture the lightweight strap — with a TKO victory over Eddie Alvarez. He is 1 of only 6 fighters in UFC history to win titles in multiple weight classes.

As a 2-division champ, McGregor is part of an exclusive club that includes members like Georges St-Piere, Randy Coutre, and Daniel Cormier. The accomplishment all but ensures McGregor will one day be enshrined in the UFC Hall of Fame one day if he's able to resolve his current legal matters.
