Arsenal 2-0 Fenerbache (Agg: 5-0) - Ramsey Brace Secures Victory

Arsenal cruised into their sixteenth consecutive Champions League group stages with a facile victory over Turkish outfit Fenerbache on Tuesday night. Aaron Ramsey grabbed two goals either side of the break to end Fenerbache's Champions League hopes, which in reality never looked possible in a predictable night of football at the Emirates Stadium. The first came in the 26th minute, with a sublime finish from a Lukas Podolski deliverty. Kieran Gibbs turned provider for a 72nd minute volley, on a night where the victory was never in doubt. The result means the Gunners have now won 12 from 12 games in Champions League play-offs, continuing their 100% winning record. The attention will now switch to manager Arséne Wenger, who has a reputed £70 million transfer war chest at his disposal to attain some new players for the North London outfit, with Mezut Ozil, Karim Benzema, and Angel Di Maria all linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium.
