Arsenal Enjoying Best Premier League Start For Six Years

After six games, Arsenal are the early pacesetters in the Premier League - sitting top with 15 points from a possible 18. The London outfit haven't started this well since the 2007/08 season when they were top of the table after six games with 16 points. That campaign saw them remain in first place until March where their form greatly dipped and they ended up finishing the season in third place on 83 points. Supporters will be hoping the Gunners can maintain their strong start when they face more of the top-6 sides this time, as fierce London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are the only side of such calibre Arsenal have faced this season. However, it was beating the lower league sides away from home that has cost the side in recent seasons, so many will be glad to see a more ruthless Arsenal dispatching of every opponent coming their way. With eight away wins on the bounce, and 10 consecutive victories in all competitions, it's no surprise to see why the Gunners are currently leading their league compatriots. This month, they will face West Brom (away), Norwich (home), and Crystal Palace (away). Based on current form, they will be expected to remain top of the Premier League before they go into their tough fixture list of November - where they will then face Liverpool (home) and Manchester United (away). That will be the biggest test to their title credentials.
