Arsenal Next Manager: 10 Replacements For Arsene Wenger

10. Mauricio Pochettino

Here's one to anger fans on both sides of the North London divide. It's hard to imagine the Arsenal suits making an approach for the manager of the club's fiercest rivals, and harder still to imagine Spurs' notoriously prickly chairman Daniel Levy entertaining such an offer. Even if it were to come to pass, would the Tottenham manager want the move? It's looking increasingly likely that Spurs will finish above Arsenal this season, and the Argentine might even have his hands on the Premier League trophy come May. Still, if you look past the logical objections just for a moment, the man in the White Hart Lane dugout might just be a good fit for Arsenal. Like Wenger at his peak, he promotes attractive, high-tempo football and is not afraid to put his trust in raw youngsters, traits that he has shown at both Southampton and Spurs. Arsenal have academy youngsters on the fringes of the first team; if Pochettino were to make the move the likes of Alex Iwobi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Serge Gnabry and Dan Crowley could all benefit.
