It€™s fairly well known fact that Arsenal would ideally like to strengthen their striking options during the January transfer window. Arsene Wenger certainly caught the imagination of fans when he unveiled the signing of Mesut Ozil in the summer, and will be looking to do a similar thing with a star strikers that can feed off the German playmaker. The idea of this slideshow is to look at some of the options that Wenger may turn to based on form and statistical data from Who Scored. Arsenal certainly haven€™t struggled for goals so far this season with 33 scored in their 16 EPL games. However, he will be concerned that Liverpool has managed 42 and Manchester City has scored 51 goals. Wenger will also be painfully aware that the aforementioned teams have a star forward in the shape of Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero respectively. The Gunners have Aaron Ramsay and Oliver Giroud that have scored eight and seven goals respectively, but will feel another striking option could secure the Premier League titles at the expense of their rivals.
