Both The Sun and Sky Sports are reporting that Arsenal have entered the race for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic, and even lodged interest in the American yesterday.
The 19-year old has been turning heads since emerging as a new star player at Dortmund. Now, Arsène Wenger reportedly wants to bring the teenager to London. In order to do so, the Arsenal boss will have to fend off stiff competition from Liverpool and Spurs. Not only that, but Spanish giants Real Madrid are also said to be monitoring Pulisic's progress in Germany.
Pulisic can play as an attacking midfielder too, so this could be Wenger's way of looking to replace Alexis Sanchez for next season. The Chilean is in the final year of his contract and is widely expected to leave the Emirates Stadium for free next Summer.
One problem could be that Pulisic just pledged his future to Dortmund, claiming he won't leave the Westfalenstadion until after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. That timing could be ideal for Arsenal though, because replacing Sanchez will be an ongoing concern for Wenger.
