Arsenal Transfers: 5 Deals That Definitely Won't Happen

5. Thierry Henry

Henry Thierry Henry is a legend at Arsenal, so much so far there is a bronze statue of him sitting eternally outside the Emirates, above. With 226 goals, he is the Gunners record goalscorer, and is still revered at the club five years after moving to Barcelona. His heart has always belonged to Arsenal though, so much so that he answered an SOS call from Arsene Wenger last January and made 4 loan appearances for his old club from New York Red Bulls as cover for Gervinho, who departed for the African Cup of Nations. Gervinho is playing in the ACON again this season and the Gunners are once more short of attacking options. Will Henry make a third debut for Arsenal? No. Wenger has already stated that he will not be bringing his French compatriot back to the Emirates this month. Source(s): Yahoo!
