The 31-year old out-of-favour Barcelona striker is being pursued by up to three Premier League sides and both London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal
are said to be interested in the Spanish international. Villa is the first player to ever reach 50 international goals and is Spain's all-time top goalscorer, and has enjoyed a similarly stellar club career, winning the Champions League with Barca in 2011. But he appears to be surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp now and the Spanish champion's loss could be Arsenal's gain. Though his age and patchy injury record are obvious concerns, he still has an eye for goal and netted 10 times in 28 La Liga appearances last season, proving he could do a job for Arsenal.
