With the contractual situation of Theo Walcott now looking far from certain; Arsenal must surely start to consider replacements for their second contract rebel of the summer. While it’s still not decided that Walcott will leave and he could yet see out the final year of his contract before being available on a bosman next summer, his wage demands and the signals emanating from his camp seem to suggest a likely exit.
What Culture takes a look at the candidates who could feasibly replace Walcott for the Gunners.
Victor Moses
The talented Wigan winger showed glimpses of serious quality towards the end of last season, with a scintillating display at the Emirates being a major highlight (he beat Sagna with a great skill to assist one of Wigan’s early goals). Moses was undoubtedly a major reason for Wigan’s Premier League survival last season, he was arguably their best player and at 21 years of age has years to develop into a star.
Although not quite as fast as Walcott, Moses still has pace to burn and has great ball control which allows him to beat players with ease. All in all he is a decent overall winger who can develop into something special. His price will be in the region of £8-12 million which is about half of what Arsenal can get from the sale of Walcott. The other clubs interested are Chelsea and Spurs but Victor Moses looks like the most viable option for a Walcott replacement.

I would also like to keep walcott but his link up play with Van Persie was one of his main strong points and without rvp we could deal with his loss. I would go for Muniain as he would be a solid replacement.
i would keep walcott for one more season with robin van persie and i would invest in the left back position it hasnt been the same since ashley cole and gael clichy left arsenal i would probably sign lyon left back aly cisshoko hes talented and he will remind arsenal fans about the player we made which was ashley cole. also i would sign mathieu debuchy the french right back right under newcastle’s nose they are clearly copying wenger’s style by signing french players remember arsenal have got a bigger french connection than newcastle so therefore i would sign debuchy who did well at euros and then sign a defensive midfielder either m’vila or etienne capoue in my opinion i think capoue is better than m’vila so i would sign him.
am a great fan of arsenal my wishes to vanpersie and walcott is to safe journey because whether they are in arsenal will win trophies like champions preimier fa carling cups by GOD grace and i dont want arshavin to leave.
Wenger should find a replacement 4 rvp&walcott bcos dey can leave arsenal at any time on like nasri, clichy&others.
Plz wenger sign hoilet and hatem ben arfa…If u buy those players leave theo walcot if he want..
Nahh! None of those! Matias Suarez! Now he would be a massive step up without the massive price tag!
ars hole
Hi plz wenger go sign this incase walcot decides to leave
Muniain – yes deffinatley, he is a step up from theo if theo went & we signed him instead the team would be improved!
Tho it would take more towards £25m to acquire his services, but it would be money well spent. Mark my words, 4-7 years & that player will be worth £50m-£75m!!!!!!!!!
They should also get eriksen he is also sensational but again it would take a bid in the £25m region.
Wengers signs these 2 van persie would stay, no doubts about it. While your there wenger also grab Hummels from bvb he is 10x teh defender mertescarcar (-cant spell it) is & will ever be, he is a rock in the defence, he would easily take koscienlys place at the back him.
These 3 will cost £70m-£90m depedning on negotiations, i say hummels for mertasaker plus £10m. muniain for theo. then staright £25m bod for eriksen.
