Arsenal's New Home Kit Revealed For 2012/13

As modeled by Arsenal's newest young prodigy Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, has a rather American feel to it with the red, white and blue colours.

Arsenal have unveiled their new home shirt and kit for the 2012/2013 season. The design, as modeled by Arsenal's newest young prodigy Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, has a rather American feel to it with the red, white and blue colours. Or perhaps it is meant to reflect the French national flag as a homage to manager Arsene Wenger and his knack of finding French superstars at Arsenal. Or maybe even the Holland flag as a way to subliminally keep Robin Van Persie at the Emirates. Oxlade-Chamberlain said of the decision to include blue in the kit;
"The blue has been on the home kit before but maybe not for a few years. "It€™s quite a historic element to the kit if you look back to the 30s and part of the club crest so it is nice to have it back. "It is exciting when you see new kit for the first time. It€™s obviously a change to what you€™ve been used to for the previous season and when we see it before everyone else, it€™s really exciting as you€™re not allowed to say anything about it."
England winger Theo Walcott, who is awaiting the announcement of the Euro 2012 squad, said the shirt has a British feel to it;
"I think the blue in particular in the kit reflects a British feel for the club in a massive year for the home nations with the Olympics this summer. "There€™s a lot of historical features, with the hooped socks and blue that€™s been in our kits for decades. "Hopefully, this kit can be a part of the record books on the pitch next season and to become part of the club€™s history in years to come."
Arsenal fans... what do you make of the new kit? And here's some bigger questions to put to you... will Arsenal wear the kit in the Champions League next season? Will Robin Van Persie wear the shirt next season?
