The former Barcelona player took English football by storm last season managing a Swansea side to their first ever piece of Silverware in the League Cup and providing a solid 9th place Premier League finish playing silky, attractive football. Surely he is perfect fit for the job at Barca with the right footballing ideals and beliefs, plus he knows the Spanish leagues as well as anyone, after spells with Getafe and RCD Mallorca. However the big question is will he be able to cope with the big names and egos he hasn't experienced. Also he has never managed a club in the Champions League before which could put him at a disadvantage. With the blockbuster signings of Wilfried Bony, Jonjo Shelvey, former Betis midfielder Jose Canas and also former Espanyol defender Jordi Amat, along with the astute renewal of a season long loan deal with Jonathan De Guzman, it's exciting times for what Laudrup is building at Swansea, with the Carling Cup winners having a Europa League campaign to look forward too. Perhaps it's right job at the wrong time?
