Aston Villa’s, Christian Benteke, Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, and Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge are all boasting enviable records from their first four Premier League games – having scoring in each match so far.

Last season’s Premier League stats;

  • Olivier Giroud – 11 goals from 34 games
  • Daniel Sturridge – 10 goals from 14 games
  • Christian Benteke – 19 goals from 34 games

Based on the 2012/13 campaign, Giroud and Sturridge will be nailed on to better their previous Premier League goal tallies, and will also be putting themselves in contention of winning the Premier League Golden Boot.

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke is one of the hottest strikers in Europe at present. From the top-5 European leagues, only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have netted more goals than the Belgian international for club and country combined in 2013 (22).

After the 22-year old handed in a transfer request this summer, the decision made by manager Paul Lambert to persuade him to stay with a new lucrative contract has already been justified.

Olivier Giroud, 26, was Arsenal’s in-form player during pre-season – netting eight times. It’s no surprise to see him continue such great form into the new season, and manager Arsene Wenger has praised the French international – citing how he’s improved on the last campaign, and is also a Golden Boot contender.

Daniel Sturridge ended the season on fire with Liverpool, and has been relishing having deputised for the suspended Luis Suarez. The 24-year old is another who many feel has the potential to finish among the top scorers in the Premier League.

His manager Brendan Rodgers has already said the England international has the potential to go ‘right to the top’. He’s being proven right so far.
