Borussia Dortmund vs Arsenal - Live On Sky Sports 1

Date: Wednesday, November 6 Venue: Westfalenstadion Kick-Off: 19:45 Can Arsenal revive their Champions League hopes and avenge their defeat to Borussia Dortmund at Emirates Stadium last month?

Team News

Borussia Dortmund central defender Mats Hummels is unlikely to be fit for Wednesday night's visit of Arsenal in Group F. Hummels sustained a thigh injury in the weekend win over Stuttgart, and will likely be replaced by Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Sebastian Kehl, Ilkay GündoŸan and ukasz Piszczek remain out but Marcel Schmelzer should be fit. Arsenal meanwhile have injury concerns of their own and will be without midfielders Jack Wilshere and Mathieu Flamini. Wilshere is recovering from an ankle injury while Flamini has not travelled because of a groin strain. Theo Walcott has an outside chance of being available for Sunday's trip to Manchester United but this game will come too soon for the midfielder. (eurosport)

Match Preview

One of the most finely-poised Champions League groups, this Group F encounter is virtually a must-win for Arsenal tonight. With three sides all on six points, there is little room for maneuver for Arsene Wenger's side, and a second successive European defeat could have calamitous results. The Gunners were unfortunate to lose to Dortmund at Emirates Stadium last time out - the victims of a classic counter-attack, it was a game they deserved more from. However, it's the points on the board that tell the final story, and Arsenal will know they have their work cut out for them again tonight against a Dortmund side who keep churning out home wins. Jurgen Klopp's side haven't lost on home soil in any of their last eight games at the Westfalenstadion and will be hoping to build on last season's run that saw them reach the Champions League final. That's the task facing the Gunners tonight, in what promises to be a closely-contested affair.
