Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury made a surprise appearance on last night's WWE SmackDown season premiere on FOX, getting into it with Braun Strowman during and after 'The Monster Among Men's' eight-man tag match.

With a smile on his face, Strowman squared up to 'The Gypsy King' after running around the ring, flattening his opponents with signature shoulder barges. He then lobbed Dolph Ziggler towards where Fury was standing, knocking Tyson back down on his chair, before heading back inside, Powerslamming Ziggler, and scoring the victory.

This upset Fury, who hopped the barricade to tease a brawl with Braun after the bell. Strowman stood in the ring, grinning as security swamped Tyson, preventing the duo from putting their hands on each other.

The confrontation has made headlines around the world, with all kinds of major media outlets covering the story. This is particularly true in the United Kingdom, where Fury is a big, big star, so WWE should consider the segment a huge success even if it doesn't lead to an eventual match between Strowman and Fury.
