Celtic Transfers: Stefan Scepovic Deal BACK ON

Man City's Jon Guidetti also potentially incoming.

A couple of hours are a long time on transfer deadline day: just try sitting and watching Jim White insist everything is the most exciting things he's ever heard for ten minutes, and you'll see exactly why. And it seems that for Celtic a couple of hours have made all the difference, as one deal that was thought to be dead is now firmly back on. Stefan Scepovic had initially turned down a move to Celtic, because the Sporting Gijon striker had instead decided to move to Getafe, but now that move has too collapsed and the Serbian is back on his way to Celtic Park, with the deal confirmed by Sky Sports News. The striker, who has been capped eight times, signed a three-year deal with Sporting last summer, and scored 22 times last season. He could also still be joined in Glasgow by Man City's Swedish striker Jon Guidetti, who has the capability to be a big hit in Scotland, thanks to his imposing size and technical ability that has so far been ignored at City. If Celtic can get that over the line they will look in much better shape than they did last week when they plummeted out of the Champions League. And that can only be a good thing as they haven't looked at all impressive this season.
