Chelsea: 5 Reasons Why Rafa Benitez Is A Bad Choice

3. Roman Wants Pep

It can't be denied that Roman Abramovich wants Pep Guardiola leading his team to glory, and he hasn't kept this a secret. Pep Guardiola is heralded as the best manager in the footballing world right now, and with the Spaniard currently taking a break from the game, as expected, he has received offers from many clubs. With Manchester United and City, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and AC Milan all said to be interested in him, he knows that he will not lack options. But Roman has been very eager to persuade Guardiola to come to Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately for Roman, sources close to Pep have said that he does not find Roman's lack of stability with managers appealing. Abramovich has employed nine managers in nine years, caretakers included, since buying Chelsea in summer 2003 and this is apparently off putting for Guardiola. But that won't stop him from trying, and until he does get Guardiola it looks like he won't be happy with anyone else.
