Chelsea Look To Swap Mohamed Salah For Atletico Madrid Ace

A swap deal could be on the cards for the Blues.

As if Jose Mourinho didn't have a wealth of top-range talent to chose from in the final third there are reports coming out of Italy claiming that French international forward Antoine Griezmann will be the next player to have a bid received for him from the Chelsea. Football-Espana are claim that Mourinho is "willing to do what it takes to get him". The imminent bid is a supposed swap deal where Atletico Madrid which, if they accept, would see them receiving Chelsea's Mohamed Salah, who spent a successful second half of the season on loan at Fiorentina, as well as the impressive sum of ‚50 million, which in the current climate equates to a touch more than £35 million.
The once Real Sociedad man earned himself a move to the Vicente Calderon after improving year on year at his former club as well as showing he could cut it in the Europa League in the 2013-14 season. This subsequently gave him an opportunity to show his talents on the biggest stage after receiving a late call-up to France's World Cup squad where, once again, he impressed. Although the winger-come-striker has insisted he sees his immediate future with Diego Simeone's side, an offer this good will be hard to turn down. Chelsea aren't the only club with Griezmann on their radar however; after an impressive season that saw him score 25 goals in all competitions, inevitably, they will have to stave off competition with Bayern Munich and Monaco also said to be interested.
