Chelsea Transfers: 10 Players Who Could Be Sold By Jose Mourinho This Summer

Despite returning to form with a 3-0 win over Stoke this weekend, José Mourinho is only too aware that it will take a miracle for Chelsea to take home a trophy after a series of underwhelming performances at a crucial stage of the season. Following last week's loss to Crystal Palace, Mourinho was blunt in his assessment that certain players were not performing to the expected standard. Mourinho is typically the kind of manager who seeks to deflect any criticism of his players by creating controversy elsewhere, usually aimed at referees or opposition managers. For him to be so scathing in his assessment of his players is almost unprecedented and a clear indication of frustration at a season which has too often promised greatness one week before being brought back down to earth the next. Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill and John Terry may have escaped their manager's wrath, but many high profile names in Chelsea's squad will have good reason to fear that Mourinho has them in his sights for the chop. The big question, then, is which players in the Chelsea squad are at real risk of being sold? Loan players are excluded - otherwise you could certainly add Victor Moses, Ryan Bertrand and Marko Marin to the list, albeit for different reasons - but read on for my ten choices of who should be very concerned about their future.
