Chelsea Transfers - 10 Strikers To Fire The Blues To Title Glory In 2015

Despite recording impressive back-to-back wins against Liverpool and Manchester City last season, Chelsea were still unable to win their first Premier League title since 2010. The Blues defeated the 2013-14 champions and runners up home and away and despite a late surge, were still unable to overhaul the two North West teams. And a big part of the reason why is that Chelsea finished with the lowest goal difference (44) of the top three sides, with Liverpool (51) and City (65) outscoring the Londoners. Liverpool and City netted an incredible 101 and 102 goals each last season compared to the 71 managed by Jose Mourinho's men, who had striker issues throughout the campaign. The problems riddling Fernando Torres persist, with the Spaniard scoring just five league goals, while Demba Ba clocked up the same tally in the Premier League with Samuel Eto'o getting nine. A 19-goal return from your three main strikers is simply not good enough - Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge plundered 52 between them at Anfield and City's four-pronged attack force of Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko, Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic managed 45 league goals. That Chelsea's highest goalscorer last season was a midfielder - Eden Hazard - casts the forwards at Stamford Bridge in a very bad light indeed. If the Blues are to win the Premier League next season, they are going to need to sharpen up in front of goal, and here we look at 10 Strikers To Fire The Blues To Title Glory In 2015.
