Chelsea Transfers: Juan Cuadrado Deal DONE

Colombian winger signs on at Stamford Bridge.

It's been in the pipeline all day, but now it seems that the deal to bring Juan Cuadrado in to Chelsea has been completed for an eye-watering £27m. The deal to sign the Fiorentina attacker was initially held up by complications with the outgoing deals for Mohamed Salah (who will join the Italians on loan as part of the deal) and Andre Schurrle, as Chelsea needed to make space in their squad thanks to financial fair play regulations. But those concerns have now been put aside and the Colombian is on his way to Stamford Bridge with the ringing endorsement of his manager still in his ears:
"Cuadrado is an ultimate professional. He has always give his best. I'm sad but happy for him. Chelsea a top club. "Honestly, it was something that had to be done. As a Coach I€™m disappointed, but on a pragmatic level the fee is so high that it€™s worth it."
Andre Schurrle has apparently also officially joined Wolfsburg, which may pave the way for Man Utd to bring former Chelsea player Kevin De Bruyne back to the Premier League. That deal cut it close with the German window closing at 5pm, but it's all now done bar the shouting. Are you happy to see Cuadrado sign for Chelsea? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
