Screen Shot 2014 01 28 At 09 25 45 Now that we are in the new year, we have a lot to reflect on from the 2013 College Football season: Auburn shocking the world and making the national championship after being put at 500/1 odds to win before the season, Jameis Winston bursting out onto the scene to win the Heisman trophy, and upsets and comeback throughout the year. Here are the top 8 most memorable finishes of the 2013 season:

8. Central Florida 38 - Louisville 35 (October 18, 2013)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPWinkX4h6o Junior Teddy Bridgewater continued on his momemtum from an impressive 2012 into the 2013 season, lighting up both the stat sheet on the scoreboard as Louisville started 6-0, and outscored their opponents 246-44. In a primetime mid-week affair, Central Florida paid a visit to Louisville, Kentucky to try an knock off the #8 Cardinals, and end their national championship hopes. The game started as every Louisville game had this year, with Bridgewater powering the Cards to big lead and cruising to a victory. Things looked to be heading that way after Louisville's James Quick returned a botched Central Florida punt to extend the lead to 28-7 with seven minutes left in the third quarter. Junior Quarterback Blake Bortles immediately went to work on bringing the Golden Knights back in the game, leading four straight scoring drives that propelled Central Florida to a 31-28 lead with seven minutes remaining. Louisville responded with a touchdown of their own, taking the lead back with an even three minutes on the clock. Bortles and the Knights would not be denied of the victory they had worked so hard for, driving down the field and scoring what would be the game-winner with just 23 seconds left. Central Florida gets their second win over a ranked opponent in 27 tries on the road, 38-35. Capitalizing off their momentum from this game, Bortles ended his Knights career with seven straight wins, including a Fiesta Bowl upset over Baylor.
