WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has described UFC's Conor McGregor as a "perfect fit" for the company.

The future of the Irish MMA star has been the subject of much speculation since he made his transition from the Octagon to the boxing ring earlier this year, for his money-spinning match opposite Floyd Mayweather. Many consider his outspoken personality and natural charisma an ideal match for the world of pro-wrestling.

Speaking during a Leaders in Sports convention held at Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge stadium, the 'Billion Dollar Princess' likened Conor to her father, noting his "hell of a Vince McMahon-swagger." The laudatory comments went on, "He certainly has the personality and the athletic ability, the appeal. He speaks his mind, he's very genuine and authentic."

Steph's comments are just the latest overtures from a company which clearly sees the massive earning potential of working with the 'Notorious One'. Last November, Triple H posted a tweet - with Vince McMahon as a mention - highlighting McGregor's innate marketability, whilst in August, Chris Jericho boldly predicted that Conor joining WWE was a "no-brainer". "A guy that yappy - I think Conor will definitely end up there, it's just a matter of when he wants to."

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
