Craig Bellamy To Join Queens Park Rangers Today?

Will follow Man City teammate Shaun Wright-Phillips out of Manchester City and to Loftus Road before the 11pm transfer window shuts.

Shaun Wright-Phillips looks to make the move out of Manchester City to Queens Park Rangers, news has also emerged of the Hoops interest in Craig Bellamy. A breaking Sky Sports News story claims Bellamy will likewise make the move to Loftus Road today but it's not yet known if it would be a permanent deal or on loan. Certainly QPR have the resources to buy the player outright and pay his wages with the backing of new owner Tony Fernandes, which a lot of Premier League rival clubs simply don't have. However Sky Sports would later update the story with the news that QPR weren't the only ones interested in buying the Welsh international who played last season at his hometown club Cardiff City in the Championship.
