Crystal Palace Transfer News: Eagles Finally Sign Tom Ince On Loan

Crystal Palace have finally succeeded in landing Blackpool winger Tom Ince on loan, according to the London Evening Standard. Despite spending most of the day at Palace's training ground in south London after undergoing his medical on Thursday, doubts remained over the transfer. Eagles' sporting director Iain Moody earlier admitted the 22-year-old's move to Selhurst Park was 'still in the balance' after Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston had second thoughts about the deal. Ince had held talks with a string of Premier League sides including Swansea City, Stoke and Sunderland but will now complete his loan to Palace after weeks of uncertainty. The Eagles are thought to be paying a £1 million loan fee to Blackpool for Ince, who is expected to sign for French club Monaco at the end of the season when he becomes a free agent. With only 15 league games left to play, Ince will set Palace back £67,000 a match but that is a financial risk the struggling Londoners are prepares to take. Palace are 14th in the Premier League and just four points off the relegation zone following their promotion back into England's top tier via the play-offs last season. Ince is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in England and his 18 Championship goals last season saw him named Football League Young Player of the Year for 2013. The ex-Liverpool winger has scored seven goals for Blackpool this season but has not played for the Tangerines since the sacking of father Paul as manager on January 21.
