David Beckham is on his way to Paris to complete the formalities of his move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to the BBC
The former Manchester United midfielder has been in the hunt for a new club after leaving LA Galaxy in December on the back of winning the MLS Cup Final.
There has been much speculation about his next move, with clubs in China, Australia and Europe reported to be interested in signing him. Speculation grew this week that he could be about to make a sensational move to Arsenal after he was seen training with Arsene Wenger’s men, though the Frenchman denied he was plotting bringing the player to the Emirates.
The 37-year old is now set to be revealed as a PSG player at a press conference later today and will begin training with his new side within the next fortnight.
Beckham was part of the famous 1999 treble-winning Manchester United team and later moved to Spanish champions Real Madrid. He then agreed to move to LA Galaxy in 2007 and attracted some controversy during his five-and-a-half year spell in the MLS.
He angered fans by moving to AC Milan on loan in 2009 and again in 2010, which meant him missing part of the MLS season.

I love to see D-Beck back in Europe, but don’t know how much playing time he will get in that stacked PSG locker room.
Giving his wages to a children’s charity, whilst a lovely gesture, sounds to me like one big publicity stunt. I doubt very much he will play that many games.
I assume he gives his salary to charity, but will benefit elsewhere by perhaps getting some other perks like image rights or a stake in the club.
