Both Manchester Clubs are battling for the signatures of Napoli striker Edinson Cavani and Athletic Bilbao forward Fernando Llorente. City are looking to offload Mario Ballotelli, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko whilst Dimitar Berbatov and Frederico Macheda are set to depart Old Trafford and replacements are required.

Eden Hazard is set to sign for Spurs, but only if they make it to the Champions League, although both Manchester clubs have also shown interest.

Everton manager David Moyes is planning to make Steven Pienaar a permanent fixture at Goodison Park again after his impressive run of form since he was loaned to the club from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

Newcastle’s dynamo midfield player, Cheick Tiote is set to stay in Tyneside even though speculation suggests he will be encouraged to leave Geordie Land for a more lucrative salary. If Newcastle were to get the Andy Carroll type offer that managing director Derek Llambias seems to be hoping for given his public comments, then Tiote will be leaving if he likes it or not.

Arsenal will need to take desperate measures to keep Robin Van Persie and Carlos Vela at the club. With a new manager set at Barcelona, if that individual wants to join up Van Persie and Fabergas again next season then Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, may have trouble persuading his leading goalscorer to stay at the Emirates. Vela is also publicly unhappy at the club after not been given first team football and has spent the majority of his time on loan at other clubs. He played for West Brom last season and this season has scored 11 goals in 31 appearances at Spanish club Real Sociedad.

AC Milan are planning to snatch Solomon Kalou away from Chelsea for around £6 million in summer with the promise of first team football.

On loan AC Milan midfielder Alberto Aquilani is set to make a return to Liverpool after Kenny Dalglish said he would welcome the ex-Liverpool player back warmly. Liverpool have lacked constituency  this season, something the manger is looking to change ahead of next season.
