Everton Transfers: 5 Replacements To Leighton Baines

Everton have recently rejected a combined bid of £28 million for Leighton Baines and Belgian international Maroune Fellaini. There has been constant speculation over the England left back and many back him to make the move to Manchester United joining up with former manager David Moyes. Although the recent bid were labelled as 'derisory and insulting' by the Toffees. Baines fought his way into the Premier League as he climbed the divisions with Wigan Athletic, reaching the summit for his debut season in the top flight in 2005/06. Moving to Everton in the summer of 2007 he made a great impact and really started to establish himself in the first team. It was last season that Baines raised his game another level as he built a formidable partnership down the left flank with Steven Pienaar. He created 116 chances, more than any other player in the top 5 leagues in Europe and along with being a regular in the England squad; it wasn't a bad season for the left back. If he was to leave the Toffees he would be dearly missed and his absence would have to be addressed by Roberto Martinez dipping into the transfer market. Here are 5 replacements for Leighton Baines.
