"You'll never walk alone it said" The first time we saw the words on that armband, Torres wasn't a Liverpool player. At the time he played for Athletico Madrid and was fast becoming one of the hottest properties in world football, but suddenly the world knew that Fernando wanted Liverpool and we wanted him. Rarely has anyone expressed so clear a desire for something and when Rafa made it happen things were on the up.
2. 07/08 Season

The goals flowed freely that year and suddenly Liverpool looked a force to be reckoned with Fernando Torres, the final piece of the jigsaw, with creativity, pace and class to spare. In that first season, Torres lit up the Premier League and our hearts.
