Fulham Transfer News: Phillipe Senderos Joins Valencia

The latest news involving Fulham is that experienced defender Phillipe Senderos has departed for Spanish side Valencia. The former-Arsenal man was previously a transfer target for Italian side Lazio but that move fell through but now he is on his way out and is not the first departure today from Fulham. Monaco recently announced the capture of Dimitar Berbatov on a loan deal, while Aaron Hughes left for QPR earlier in the day. Fulham were already in the market for a defender, with John Heitinga top of the list, and the recent departure suggests there could be an imminent arrival at the club. Recent indications suggest the Dutchman is extremely close to sealing his switch from Everton and the deal is expected to be completed in time. Fulham have also been linked to Swansea Citys Neil Taylor and he could still make a move in the final hour, expect to see one of these players confirmed this evening. It's been a great day for Fulham who already secured the services of Lewis Holtby on-loan from Tottenham and Kostas Mitroglou, while its going to get better.
