Defender Stephen Kelly is expected to be back into training next week following a wrist injury he suffered against Chelsea. Midfielder Steven Sidwell is on the comeback trail from a hernia injury.
For Wigan, Hudo Rodallega is hoping to be back from his knee injury that has kept him out for the past six weeks. He will undergo a late fitness test, as will Shaun Maloney who returned to training on Friday after picking up a knock against Arsenal.
Spanish midfielder Albert Crusat has definitely been ruled out for the next fortnight with a calf knock he took in training.
