Match Preview
Inter have it all to at the San Siro this evening.
Both Spurs and the Italian giants will be looking to put weekend defeats behind them as Inter seek to pull back a 3 goal deficit after a first leg mauling at White Hart Lane.
Brad Friedel will continue to deputise for Hugo Lloris in European competition and will be confident that Inter Milan won’t bag the 4 goals they require to put Spurs out of the competition.
A lot of suspect eyes will be on Spurs as they go in to competitive battle without in-form superstar Gareth Bale, whose absence may be seen by some as a well-earned rest and a blessing in disguise, as Spurs are expected to progress even without the talismanic Welshman, having earned such a large lead from the opening tie.
Spurs will hope to come away from this match unscathed, as a comfortable away win in Italy would send a huge message to the rest of Europe, clinically earn a place in the Europa League quarter finals and leave Spurs with a great chance of success in this competition.
