Inter Milan Vs Spurs - Team News, Match Preview And Likely Line-Ups

Team News

Aaron Lennon Following a disappointing defeat against Liverpool, Tottenham received a double boost ahead of their Europa League second leg against Inter Milan as both Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon have travelled to Italy. Adebayor had missed both of Spurs' last two games after picking up a knee injury against Arsenal, while Lennon came off late with a slight hamstring problem in the first leg against Inter. He missed the defeat at Anfield. Further good news came from Clint Dempsey, who has been out for the last four games with a calf strain, as he is expected to be available for Sunday€™s Premier League clash against Fulham at the Lane but won't play this evening. Younes Kaboul and Sandro (both knee) remain out while Gareth Bale is suspended for this match, having been adjudged to have simulated in the first leg. Inter are still suffering from something of an injury crisis, with several players still not back to full fitness, but Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic should return to the starting line-up for this match. The Slovenian international missed out on the weekend defeat against Bologna due to suspension. The Nerazzurri will look for inspiration from captain Javier Zanetti, who made his 600th appearance for the club against Bologna and the ageless 39-year-old will start at right-back again. Expect coach Stramaccioni to recall former Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano, after his usual disciplinary problems, to the first team. The Italian international will be expected to link with Rodrigo Palacio as Inter hunt for the goals they require to get back in to this. Source: IB Times
