5. Exaggeration, Not Simulation

Being labelled the long lost brother of Olympian Tom Daley, many wouldn't believe that Luis Suarez has only been booked thrice for diving (when, surprise surprise; two of them weren't a dive). Perhaps the only two dives I've ever seen the Uruguayan commit was that against Stoke - which is quite hard to explain - and that against Arsenal. So how can this give him the reputation that many other players across the world keep avoiding? Now, when I say they were the only two dives I've ever seen Suarez commit, it comes down to the word 'dive'. Suarez exaggerates. That is something me, or even himself, wouldn't deny. Luis goes down when he feels a knock, and wants a foul when it is ultimately a foul. For instance, take the calls for penalties against United, Spurs, and Norwich. Against United, it was a more blatant penalty than the Valencia one, yet nothing was given. Against Spurs, it was a call in the last five minutes when Liverpool trailed by one, which is just typical. Finally, against Norwich, Suarez can only be described as a victim of assault. People may say that Suarez's reputation is the thing that's not getting him rewards. But that's the thing, there's no reputation. He's been booked for diving three times when two were clear fouls. It's appalling to see such bias and scrutiny in Football today. Which leads me to...
