Liverpool, Arsenal And Man Utd Miss Out On Carlos Bacca

The striker is set to sign for AC Milan...

AC Milan are set to fend off competition from a host of European clubs and bring Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca to the San Siro next season, La Gazzetto Delo Sport reports. The Italian side who are now managed by Sinisa Mihajlovic after Filippo Inzaghi was sacked at the end of last season have agreed to meet the Columbian's buy-out clause of around £21 million. Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Roma all showed strong interest in the 28-year-old who scored 29 goals in all competitions last season and paid a big part in leading Sevilla to back-to-back Europa League titles. Bacca who also made 9 assists last term grabbed 7 goals during their Europa campaign finishing just behind Everton's Romelu Lukaku who scored 8. The powerful centre forward joined the Spanish side in July 2013 from Belgian side Club Brugge for ‚7 million.
