Swansea have a agreed a £7 million deal with Hoffenheim for the 22-year-old Icelandic ace who was on loan at the club last season but the player has yet to agree terms on a permanent deal at the Welsh club. Rodgers knows more than anyone how good Sigurdsson is and believes he can have the same kind of impact at Anfield. Rodgers said publicly;
€œIf he comes on the market, I€™ll be interested.€
Daily Star also reports today that Rodgers wants to bring Joe Allen to Anfield but as he has made a deal with his former club no to sign any of their players for 12 months, he will have to look elsewhere in the short term.
