Christian Pulisic is a player that will need no introduction for Liverpool fans. The Reds famously had a bid knocked back by Dortmund for the player during Klopp's first summer at the club, and with the manager still a keen admirer of the American winger, talk of a move this summer shouldn't seem all that wide of the mark.

Though Pulisic doesn't present the same versatility as Fekir, who could operate either as a part of the front three or in a deeper role in central midfield, his talent and potential is not in doubt. Quick, good on the ball and adept in the no. 10 role he's been given in recent times, Pulisic wouldn't be a like-for-like replacement for Coutinho but, given time, there's little doubt he could be.

Raphael Honigstein speculated earlier this year that Liverpool would return for the player, and though Dortmund are unlikely to part with him easily, it's easy to see the sense in a move to Liverpool, with the club's American ownership likely to see value in having the United States' hottest upcoming talent wearing a Liverpool shirt.
