Liverpool Transfers: 5 Midfielders Brendan Rodgers Should Sign Instead Of Tom Ince

5. Isco

Isco Liverpool have been linked with a move for Malaga's attacking midfielder Isco since last September but appeared to suffer a setback in January this year when the young Spaniard signed a new deal with his current club. However, the new deal does not extend his contract beyond its current three-and-a-half-year term, meaning signing the 20-year old is not outside the realms of possibility. In fact, the only hurdle Liverpool would have to overcome in signing the exciting young talent is his £30 million buy-out clause - a remarkable figure for someone so young. Clearly spending that sort of money would be a huge gamble - but is it one worth taking? Isco is currently enjoying the highest scoring season of his short career this term and has netted 11 times in 33 appearances for Malaga, and was one of their integral players throughout their run past the Champions League group stages this season. If Rodgers is to miss out on one of England's most exciting young talents, perhaps he could make a move for Spain's.
